It can also be used for acne treatment. It is used to restore the smoothness of one’s skin by removing signs of aging, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and correcting sun damage.
Renova Directions
Renova is applied on the face avoiding areas such as the mouth, eyes and nostrils. Face must be cleansed prior the application. This is usually done once a day during night time before bedtime. This is the best time for the cream to work more effectively. Applying the cream more often than directed will not increase the effects but will only make the product less effective and could increase the risks of having more side effects. The use of this product will make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure; thus, avoid getting sun exposure as much as you can. When you have history of skin allergies, it will better to seek advice of your doctor before using the product. Do not use this product over sunburn or other serious skin conditions such as eczema. The gradual effects of renova on your skin shall start to manifest within the first 6 months of continuous therapy. If renova is used for acne treatment, condition shall worsen at first but will gradually improve later on.
Renova Side Effects
This product will have side effects which you may experience when you start using the product and will eventually fade as you get accustomed with the product. Known side effects of renova include burning, itching, redness, and swelling. More side effects such as stinging and peeling, drying and scaling of the skin will also occur. If these effects will linger for a prolonged period of time, you must inform your doctor right away for proper advice.
Renova Precautions
The makers of this product claim that you will see gradual results within a few months time of regular use and proper dose. This product must be stored in a cool place where it won’t freeze, cannot be reached by children and is out of direct sunlight. You must inform your doctor before using the product if you have history of skin allergies or you have skin disorders. During pregnancy, it should only be used when really necessary.
Drug Interactions with Renova
When you are taking other medications, you should also inform your doctor about it because there are drugs which may increase skin sensitivity to the sun so proper management could be suggested. Other skin medications and products may also cause interaction with this product so advice of your doctor is needed. Benzyl peroxide must not be used or applied when you are already using this product.
Missed Dose of Renova
If you miss a dose of Renova, apply it as soon as remembered; do not use Renova if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the amount of Renova used to catch up.

Do not freeze Renova. Store at room temperature away from moisture and bright lights. Keep away from children at all times.
